The sun and reed trecenas are shown in the Madrid and Fejervary codices (below). These two trecenas are between the east and north faces of the Tzolk’in Clock. Previous articles discussed the human mind aspect of the Tzolk’in calendar as well as planting seeds on 1-Crocodile. The center of the Fejervary depiction shows a bird taking a seed from a flower. It is during these two trecenas that our seeds are being collected by our collective consciousness, the place of our consciousness when we go to sleep. Maya Calendar Workshop
