Part of the "flowering" will be Obama winning the Presidency of our Nation. Prophesied by the Maya,
9-Reed guiding light of family and home will lead our nation in the changes that our needed. 

For me the Mayan Calendar is about the ever widening vistas of human potential and possibilities.  The story of our existence as a species is a remarkable one.  According to the Mayan cosmology we have grown through
7 underworlds and have only a few years remaining in this 8th and 9th cycle where the Mayan Calendar abruptly ends, 2012.  Like each culture that has made up our planet since it’s origin we each have a unique perspective, a world view, story based on our belief systems and experience. 

 
The consciousness that has emerged in this 5th Night reflects much of the resistance we all have for change.  In his last DVD Ian Xel Lungold himself commented that the resistance would come from inside ourselves.  It became apparent to me, this 5th Night, that transformation has to first come within our own hearts and homes.  This year I had some very profound Dark Nights of the Soul.  Events that  caused me to rethink how I perceive myself and the world.  Most of my life my choices and actions have been based on these perceptions.  What I had relied on as "comfort zones" to self identity and my security were being lost at record speed and I found my self in a tail spin struggling in a great abyss of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bankruptcy.  As dreadful as I felt, I don't believe I was alone as the inner conditions of my soul seem equally reflected in our world as a whole.  Thank God for the Mayan Calendar.  The universe, in its omnipresence, omnificence, omniscience, has provided elegant patterns illustrated in the Mayan 260 day round and has served as my guide on a daily basis, as shifts continue to accelerate.  My "comfort zones" have been transformed by recognizing the "ZONE" of my own personal intuition in alignment with Divine, Sacred Time.  It's the part I choose to play in creating a sustainable future world. and I trust it completely.  All our life lessons right now are lessons in integrity. intention and intuition.

 

The winds of change that have been in our face in this 5th Night will soon be at our backs.  Inner unity and wholeness comes with our freedom to choose what we wish to invest in.  At the same time that dark clouds of politics, economics, scientific technologies, and belief systems gather around the world, we stand amazed at the numbers of people coming forth with radical ideas for the changes we need to embrace for a sustainable future.  A society based on fear and dominating power can and will not survive these new waves of consciousness.

 

Obama, will emerge victorious as prophesied and will lead us into the 6th Day.  For many that are still resisting, the road may continue to feel dangerously steep and frightening.  However, for those of us who deliberately choose to allow the changes that must come and  recognize them as part of the original intentions from the beginning, will emerge with this flowering consciousness intact abundant with the seeds for future generations. "To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven"

 

I am 11-Eagle, activating my own personal connection to all there is in the light of what I know from experience.  But I know there are others who like me call this luminous emerging of the human potential and quantum field of possibilities "Home" for our hearts.  A place of no separation. balance, harmony, joy, peace and compassion.  It's what makes the rainbow of human kind so beautiful, celebrating our differences instead of fearing them.  God help us to remember the wisdom found at the heart of the Mayan Society, "you can't sell heaven and modern business practices to a people who think they are in heaven and who insist on giving everything away in a grandiose way to prove it."

                           This is How to Pray
 
It is with great pleasure we greet our beloved friends on this initiatory day of the new trecena.  In this thirteen-day period dedicated to the power and perceptions that attend the sacred sun sign, water or offering, there will be both many blessings and many challenges to our friends.  Be ready for an emotional thirteen days which you may see more of around you than within you, for some individuals are more sensitive and volatile in this energy than others.  Your planet is in critical times in the energy shift.  This trecena wraps up the year-long Night 5 of Tezcatlipoca or destruction that has ruled the energies of these times and the destruction has not unfolded as some would have hoped.  There is still a little time for final, grand-stand plays and we would encourage you to develop a pro-active stance beginning now that will help to ease the planet out of this period and into the flowering year that follows.
 
Your emotions will very likely be more easily evoked.  Fear will want to predominate and control and reactivity will want to follow.  We would encourage you to self-soothe in this way.  Say, "This is an emotional 13 days and there will be a lot of fear in and around me.  I can accept that as an offering towards clarity in my own mind.  It reveals to me that _______ is important to me."  When you have understood what is important to you that has evoked fear and/or anger, then turn it into a ceremony of gratitude, a choosing of appreciation for that which you desire.  Let the appreciation and gratitude pour out of you as a benediction on behalf of your desires, as though they are already made manifest solidly and securely in the world.  It is your imagination that brings fear into your system and you have been hard-wired for a true super highway of fear influx.  It now is time use the fear to clarify what matters to you and to turn all this incoming energy into choosing instead to appreciate your deep desires as though they were upon you and set rock-solid in reality.  Use your imagination on your own behalf; do not let others use it to control you.  Information is manipulated to create bleak and hopeless reactions.  Those who would control you know they would powerless in your life if you knew how to create these outcomes of hope, and of appreciation for that which is desired as it begins its process of manifesting in your life.  This is the manner in which you take back your power.  This is how to pray.
 
The energetic purpose of this trecena is to propel you into transmuting fear into personal power.  Think appreciation, speak appreciation, respond with appreciation and apply it to the issues which might otherwise promote fear.  For example you might say to yourself or to another, "I am grateful that the election process is more protected and enforced than it has been in the past.  I appreciate those people who are making it their business to watch-dog this election so that we might vote with greater confidence."  Do you see how you can turn the fear and paralyzing despair around and strengthen that which you desire?  Maybe the voting process will not be perfect, but it is improving greatly and that is actually a very good thing for our friends who love the ideals of a democracy.  Using these tools you can retain your democracy, your relationships and financial well-being and you can build upon the successes that have come before.  Appreciation is an impervious condition.  We recommend you use it to your own benefit.  This 'grass-roots' movement in the use of energy will be the base from which 4th dimensional reality is built.  Without practicing this transmutation of fear into energizing what does matter to you, you will continue to be controlled and will continue in 3rd dimensional reality until you are willing to learn the new skills.  It is an extra emotional step that you are required to take as a 4th dimensional being and it is a skill that can be taught, learned and practiced with mind-boggling results.  We recommend you bend your will towards the acquisition of this skill - no excuses.  You will be so very glad you made the effective effort.
 
These are strong and plain words that we have spoken to you.  We encourage you to consider them carefully.  If they are resonant for you and according to your desires, give this 'learning curve' everything you have got and we will give it the rest so that you might accelerate into new personal power.   And so it is.
